1. Terms of Use

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using NCLEXsage.com, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms govern all interactions, including enrollment, payments, tutoring sessions, and the use of NCLEXsage resources.

User Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older or have parental consent to enroll in NCLEXsage courses.
  • Tutors must be registered professionals in good standing and abide by our academic integrity policies.

Intellectual Property

  • All content, including NCLEX questions, rationales, PowerPoints, recorded sessions, and course materials, belong to NCLEXsage.com.
  • Tutors and students are prohibited from sharing, distributing, or reproducing NCLEXsage materials for personal or commercial use.
  • Unauthorized use of NCLEXsage materials outside our platform is a violation of these terms and may result in account termination and legal action.

Use of Services

  • Tutors and students must use NCLEXsage’s official platforms (Zoom or other designated platforms) for all sessions.
  • Students who purchase a bundle package (e.g., session group or individual lessons) but miss one of their scheduled sessions will not be eligible for a make-up class or refund. Instead, they will have limited-time access to the on-demand recorded session for that missed class, as per the attendance policy.
  • Students who purchase a single-session class and miss their session cannot request a refund or reschedule.
  • Students must notify NCLEXsage at least 48 hours in advance if they are unable to attend their scheduled class (for both bundle packages and individual sessions) to be eligible for a reschedule.
  • Access to on-demand videos is restricted to the duration specified in the attendance policy and cannot be downloaded or shared.
  • Students must log in to NCLEXsage.com to view their recorded sessions within the allotted timeframe.
  • Students and tutors must maintain professional conduct at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate account termination.

Modifications to Terms

NCLEXsage.com reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after modifications indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Attendance Policy

For Students:

All students are expected to join their scheduled Zoom class on time to ensure they receive the full benefit of the session.

15-Minute Grace Period:

If a student cannot join the class at the scheduled time, a 15-minute grace period is allowed. The tutor will remain available during this time, and the student can join as a late attendee.

No-Show Policy:

If a student does not join the class within the 15-minute grace period, the session will be considered a no-show. The tutor is not obligated to continue waiting beyond the 15 minutes, and the class will be marked as missed. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for missed sessions under this policy.

Student Responsibility:

Students are encouraged to test their technology and prepare in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues. The student must ensure a stable internet connection and access to the required Zoom link before the class begins.

Emergency Situations:

In the event of an unforeseen emergency, students must notify NCLEXsage support at info@nclexsage.com as soon as possible. Rescheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but a make-up session is not guaranteed. By participating in NCLEXsage classes, students acknowledge and agree to abide by this Attendance Policy. We aim to maintain a productive and respectful learning environment for students and tutors.

For Tutors:

  • Tutors must commit to their scheduled teaching times, as students have prepaid for these sessions.
  • If a tutor is unable to attend a session, they must notify NCLEXsage at least 48 hours in advance to arrange for a substitute.
  • Frequent cancellations or unprofessional conduct may result in termination of the tutor’s contract.

3. Refund Policy

General Refund Policy

  • All sales are final. NCLEXsage does not offer refunds once a course, session, or tutoring bundle has been purchased.
  • Students who miss a class for any reason are not entitled to a refund.
  • Students can reschedule their classes utilizing their accounts.

Exceptional Refund Situations

Refunds may be considered under limited circumstances, such as:

  • Tutor absence without a replacement session offered.
  • Double payment errors which will be reviewed upon request.

Refund requests must be submitted to info@nclexsage.com within 48 hours of the issue occurring.

4. Disclaimers

Educational Disclaimer

  • NCLEXsage.com provides tutoring and guidance but does not guarantee NCLEX exam success. Individual performance depends on personal study habits, test-taking abilities, and prior knowledge. Success is also influenced by the ability to apply critical thinking skills during the exam.
  • NCLEX® is a registered trademark of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). NCLEXsage.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCSBN. Any references to NCLEX® are solely for educational purposes.

Technology & Platform Disclaimer

  • NCLEXsage.com is not responsible for technical difficulties on the student’s end, including but not limited to internet connection issues, device malfunctions, or software compatibility problems. Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a functioning device before attending online sessions.
  • In the event of NCLEXsage platform disruptions, we will make every reasonable effort to resolve issues as quickly as possible. If a major system failure or prolonged outage prevents a scheduled session from occurring, NCLEXsage may offer a session reschedule or alternative learning access at our discretion.
  • Minor technical issues that do not significantly impact the session will not qualify for a refund or session extension.

Tutor & Content Disclaimer

  • Independent educators conduct all tutoring sessions, and while we strive for high-quality instruction, NCLEXsage.com is not liable for individual tutor teaching styles, methods, or interpretations of NCLEX-related content.
  • Recorded sessions and on-demand content are for supplemental learning only. Students should still engage in independent study and review official NCLEX preparation materials.
  • Tutors may provide practice questions and rationales for learning purposes, but these are not official NCLEX® exam questions.

Policy Enforcement Disclaimer

  • Students and tutors must adhere to NCLEXsage.com policies. Any violation of the Terms of Use, including sharing proprietary content, engaging in misconduct, or breaching confidentiality, may result in immediate termination of services without a refund.
  • NCLEXsage.com reserves the right to modify policies and services at any time to enhance the learning experience. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of these updates.

Liability Disclaimer

  • NCLEXsage is not responsible for technological issues (e.g., internet connectivity, software malfunctions) that prevent students from attending sessions.
  • NCLEXsage is not liable for any third-party actions (such as tutors’ personal conduct outside the platform).
  • Tutors and students assume full responsibility for the outcomes of their tutoring and study practices.

5. Payment & Subscription Policy

Payment Terms

  • Payments must be completed before accessing any class, bundle, or tutoring session.
  • NCLEXsage uses secure third-party payment gateways and is not responsible for payment processing errors.
  • Chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes will result in immediate account suspension.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality Policy

For Students & Tutors

  • Student and tutor information is confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
  • Recorded sessions may be used for internal review and quality improvement but will not be shared externally.

Data Collection & Security

  • NCLEXsage collects minimal user data (e.g., email, payment details) strictly for educational purposes.
  • Users must not attempt to access private or unauthorized information on the platform.

7. Tutor Policy

Tutor Expectations

  • Tutors must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Tutors are prohibited from sharing NCLEXsage materials with other institutions or using them for personal gain.
  • Tutors may use their own personal materials for teaching, but NCLEXsage retains ownership of platform-provided resources.

8. Access & Content Policy

On-Demand Video Access

  • On-demand video access is not automatically granted for any live session or bundle package.
  • Access to recorded sessions is at the sole discretion of NCLEXsage and may be provided only in specific cases as determined by the platform.
  • On-demand video content is a separate service and will be available for purchase as a standalone feature.
  • Downloading, screen recording, or sharing recorded content is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may result in account termination and legal action if necessary.

Material Access

  • Access to proprietary teaching materials is restricted, and only approved tutors may use them.
  • Unauthorized copying, sharing, or selling NCLEXsage materials is strictly prohibited.

9. Account Termination & Violations

Grounds for Account Termination

NCLEXsage reserves the right to terminate student or tutor accounts for:

  • Policy violations (e.g., sharing materials, plagiarism, inappropriate conduct).
  • Non-payment or fraudulent activities.
  • Disruptive behavior during live classes.

Appeals Process

  • Users whose accounts are terminated may submit an appeal within 7 days by emailing info@nclexsage.com.
